Comprised of human resources, emiratisation & talent management, administration, information technology and corporate policy governance, with each function supporting Etihad Rail’s overall operation.
Responsible for Strategic Planning & Corporate Performance, Product Development, Business Development, Marketing & Communications, Sales & Contracts and key Account Management.
Responsible for Etihad Rail’s operational safety, train operations, operations development, rolling stock and track & facilities.
Develops and implements strategic and tactical funding plans, ensuring a robust financially controlled environment. Also supports other business functions through financial analysis. These responsibilities are fulfilled through the following roles: corporate finance/treasury, risk management & insurance, compliance, financial controls reporting and functional finance support.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) & Quality:
Plans and executes a strategic HSE framework to protect the environment throughout Etihad Rail’s construction and operation activity, minimising occupational and public health and safety risks and ensuring the highest standards of HSE performance & quality systems.
Conducts audits for Etihad Rail’s various departments to add value and improve organisational operations. Objectives are achieved through a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Responsible for legal risk management & client service. The primary function of legal risk management includes acting as the owner & steward of Etihad Rail’s legal risk. The primary function of client service involves the management of legal services tendered to clients throughout the organization.
Responsible for Etihad Rail’s operational safety, train operations, operations development, rolling stock and track & facilities. The operations department is also responsible for ensuring that all activities including feasibility, design, construction, engineering, commissioning and implementation of projects are planned effectively in order to operate in a manner that is safe, reliable, efficient and consistent with best practice.
Manages Etihad Rail’s procurement functions, ensuring the proper implementation of established procurement policies and procedures including the tendering process and other aspects of contract completion.
Leads the design, construction, commissioning and integration of the infrastructure/fixed installations aspects of the Etihad Rail network.
